PreSchool

At SafeHaven PreSchool, our early childhood development programme covers children from the ages of 3 to 5, including learners with special educational needs.

In our preschool classes, a qualified, experienced teacher and a teacher’s assistant lead the children into discovery and exploration of the beauty and wonder of God’s creation. The children also take advantage of the well- established amenities at the Primary School such as ICT lessons from a Specialist ICT teacher on a regular basis.

While the core curriculum is ZIMSEC based, it is enhanced by a Biblical perspective and the children are encouraged daily to experience the love of God for themselves. They are taught Bible stories and verses, sing choruses and songs of praise and pray regularly.

The children’s progress is monitored closely so that individual needs can be met and there is an open door policy because we believe communicating with parents is essential. In addition to this, there are two Open Days held in the year so that parents may come and look at their child’s work and discuss it with the teacher.

Each child is a uniquely created image bearer of God and we strive to introduce them to their heavenly Father right from the beginning of their experience at SafeHaven PreSchool.
